Polyspectral cameras (multispectral and hyperspectral) in the visible and near infrared range (VIS-NIR, VNIR) 400-1000nm.
For scientific, research (R&D&I) and industrial applications, including machine vision and online multispectral and hyperspectral imaging.
In the spectral range 400 - 1000 nm (VNIR, VISNIR) the detection is based on CMOS sensors. Therefore the cameras in this wavelength range benefit from lower price than NIR-SWIR (900-1700, 900-2500 nm) multispectral and hyperspectral cameras, typically based on InGaAs sensors
Within polyspectral cameras no one agrees on how far to call multispectral and from where hyperspectral, but a good approximation would be:
- multispectral camera: measures up to a few spectral bands, maximum of 10
- hyperspectral camera: measures from about 10 spectral bands
Hyperspectral cameras in the visible – NIR (VNIR, 400 – 1000 nm)
We offer cameras from the German manufacturer Haip Solutions with push-broom technology ("HSG-" models) and different configurations. They are ideal for OEM integration into machines for online processes. There are models that have a built-in scanning element, so that it is no longer necessary to move the camera relative to the object to be measured. Some models include RGB camera. We also have a model designed for DJI drone integration.
We also have a model based on Fourier transform detection in the time domain using an ultra stable interferometer. This gives the NRS-HERA unmatched sensitivity with exceptional spatial and spectral resolution and makes it ideal for static applications.
- HSG-BlackIndustry: line-scan sensor for integration in machines
- HSG-BlackBullet: camera: linear sensor with scanning element + RGB camera
- HSG-BlackBox: cabinet system: camera + scanning element + RGB camera + lighting
- HSG-BlackBird-V2: camera + gimbal with direct coupling to DJI drones with Skyport 2.0 + RGB camera
- HSG-BlackMobile: handheld camera with scanning element + RGB camera + lighting
- NRS-HERA-VisNir: camera for static applications; high sensitivity and spectral resolution

Multispectral cameras in the visible – NIR (VNIR, 400 – 1000 nm):
We propose multispectral imaging cameras from the French company Silios Technologies with ColorShades® technology that divides the sensor into different zones by hybridizing a matrix of filters on a commercial CMOS sensor. In this way, each zone corresponds to a spectral band and thus the simultaneous capture of all of them is achieved. They are therefore “snapshot” type cameras.
Furthermore, unlike technologies with different sensors and lenses, all the spectral bands correspond to the same scene without the need to post-process and stitch the different spectral images so that they correspond exactly to the same real image.
