HSG-BlackBird-v2 is a hyperspectral camera with a linear sensor (push-broom type) and a built-in gimbal for integration into DJI drones with Skyport 2.0 for applications in the visible and near-infrared (NIR): 500 - 1000 nm.
It also includes an RGB camera so that you will have a hyperspectral and color image simultaneously and you can use the blue band for calibrations. In many applications, the blue band is not necessary for spectral inspection but it is required to calibrate, so this model is perfectly valid despite starting to measure spectrally from 500 nm (green).
In our Polyespectral Imaging Application you can learn more on this technology, the features and advantages.
Key features of the VNIR hyperspectral imaging system HSG-BlackBird-v2:
- spectral range: 500 - 1000 nm (optional 400 - 800 nm)
- spectral bands: 100
- spectral resolution: 5 nm
- spectral sampling: 5 nm
- spatial resolution: 540 x 540 px
- field of view: 33º HSI / 37º RGB
- RGB camera: 1800 x 1800 px
- integration time (cube): <3 s
Typical applications of hyperspectral imaging systems in the visible-NIR:
- fluorescence imaging
- identification and classification of plastics, minerals and other materials
- recycling
- bioscience and medicine; pharmaceutical industry
- agriculture and food quality (agrifood)
- forestry, forests
- hyperspectral microscopy
- conservation and study of art
- forensic science
- basic and applied research
HSG-Black cameras also have free and continuously updated hyperspectral imaging processing software: HSG-BlackStudio.
In addition to data acquisition and evaluation of data quality, the BlackStudio integrates analysis functions that can be used for data classification using ROI. So it is not neccessary to buy expensive software packages for this purpose.
