Do you work inside the ultraviolet wavelength range and want to benefit from latest sCMOS sensor imaging technology at once?
Interested in applications ranging from the visible down to extreme UV (EUV) and soft X-ray radiation?
PCO, the German expert in scientific and high end imaging cameras offers various models with special sensitivity in the ultraviolet range for high quality UV imaging. In addition, we can now propose models with extended wavelength range 1 -1100 nm (1.2 KeV - 1.1 eV in energy).
The specialized input window inside the camera achieves high quantum efficiency (QE) in the ultraviolet wavelength range, close to 50% for the camera system and above for the sensor itself. The system is based on our modern back illuminated sensor technology. This makes the cameras perfect for demanding lighting conditions, using the low-light mode, even in the models without active cooling.
A powerful software and SDK allow for easy integration of these UV cameras, making them a perfect fit not only for academic and research applications but also for industrial and OEM implementation.
Available models of UV image sensitive cameras:
- pco.panda 4.2 bi UV: compact, passive cooling, excellent price/performance, 190 - 1100 nm
- pco.edge 4.2 bi UV: water/air cooling, dark current 0.2 e-/pixel/s (@ - 25 °C sensor temp), 190 - 1100 nm
- pco.edge 4.2 bi XU: water/air cooling, dark current 0.2 e-/pixel/s (@ - 25 °C sensor temp), 1 - 1100 nm (1.2 KeV - 1.1 eV), ultra high vacuum compatible (1x10-7 mbar)
Typical applications of the ultraviolet sensitive cameras are:
- microscopy and life sciences - calcium imaging - high throughput / high content screening - biochip reading - 3D metrology - ophthalmology - photovoltaic inspection - lucky astronomy | - bio and chemo luminescence - biological control and safety - medical imaging - gas detection - industrial quality inspection - forensics - art conservation - extreme UV and soft X-ray imaging |
