StellarNet offer a varierty of NIR extended Range Spectrometers, exceptionally robust (with no moving parts and) and portables (in field applications, OEM, standard scientific laboratories). The InGaAs detector is linear photo diode array with 512 pixels (1024 optional) 25μm by 500μm tall to provide maximum sensitivity and performance. Integrated thermoelectric cooler (TEC) included. There are two different NIR spectrometer Series:
- RED-WAVE-NIR-SR Series: StellarNet’s high performance RED-Wave-NIRX-SR Spectrometers cover the wavelengh range 900-2300μm. With integrated two-stage thermo electric cooler (TEC) maintained at –20 °C, stabilized within +/-0.1°C.
SMA 905 fiber optic input. The STN-RED-Wave-NIR-SR has onboard Memory with pre-set calibrations, spectrometer settings, and snap shot memory to provide an instantaneous spectral image from the InGaAs array.
- DWARF-STAR Series: StellarNet’s most popular NIR spectrometer, the STN-DWARF-Star, is small, robust, and equipped with high performance InGaAs detector array for the 900-1700nm wavelength range. They achieve resolving resolutions to 1.25nm.
Advancements in electronic and optical design have allowed for size reduction never before achieved in a NIR spectrometer.
The detector has an integrated thermo electric cooler (TEC) maintained at –10 °C, stabilized within +/-0.1 °C.

**All NIRx-SR units can be coupled with StellarNet’s BLACK-Comet or UVN-SR units to cover the entire 200-2300nm range. Coupling the units can provide you with quick analysis of color in the VIS spectrum and compound fingerprint identification in the NIR.
